So i figured i would do a FOTD using the BhCosmetics Palettes that i hauled in yesterdays post. If you have yet to see it then what are you waiting for go read it!! Lol but i used the 88 Tropical palette for the Eye Look and The 32 Color lip palette for the lips. Please let me know if you would like to see more FOTD and also do some step by step tutorials on eyes, face or anything you want to see...

 

 

 

*BH Cosmetics*

Hey Dolls, So yes i have been M.I.A and ive been picking up alot of new products but havent had the time to write about it. I purchased a few things from BH Cosmetics like 2 weeks ago right before Valentines day. It was Actually part of my Valentines day gift from my boyfriend. I just wanted to share what i purchased with you guys because im really enjoying these products.

                                    

1. 88 Tropical Matte Palette- This palette ranges in colors from Tropical Yellows,Warm Oranges, Corals, Pinks/Purples, Sea glass greens and beautiful blues. I honestly havent played with this palette yet. I definitely would use this palette for Spring for a bright eyed look, Also for a Late Summer Night. Its all Matte shades with some colors that have more of a satin finish.

2. 88 Cool Matte Palette- I honestly went for more matte palettes this time because i do have so many other palettes with alot of shimmer shades, and to do a perfect eye you need both shimmer and matte shades. This palette ranges in colors from Ocean greens, Teals, Smokey greys, Cool neutrals, and Deep violets. This is a palette i would pull out if i want to do a Late night spring look. I can use these colors for a daytime look and add a little smokey shade for night time glam.

3. Party Girl Palette- Now this infamous palette I have wanted for quite a while. Its 40 Beautiful colors ranges from Champagnes, Golds, Pinks, Purples, Deep greens, and Matte and Shimmer Blacks and Greys. This palette i have used the most since purchasing. Its perfect for a night out on town when you want to glam up. This palette has both Matte and Shimmer shades.

4. 10 Color Camouflage Concealer Palette- Another palette ive heard great reviews on. The picture does not do this palette justice. Its shades for great for all skin tones. The concealers are so creamy and glide on so smoothly. I have played with this a little and i realized that it works better for me when I use this below my foundation to cover my dark spots. Also the top row can be used for more of a correcting concealer.

5. 32 Color Lip Gloss Palette- I have never owned a lip gloss palette before, and i decided that i should try this and see what looks i could do with this palette. Its colors range from Nudes, Pinks, Reds and Browns. The colors are so smooth and arent sticky. I cant wait to do some great looks using this.

6. 12 Piece Classic Brush Set- I purchased this brush set at a more discounted price. I love brushes and just needed some new brushes (I cant shop without buying brushes lol) i have never tried bh cosmetics brushes and figured i would try these. This black patent case comes with 12 brushes that have black handles and white synthetic bristles. There's eye and face brushes and really are soft and doesnt shed. I have found that acouple of the eye brushes arent picking up as much product as i like but hey ill find other uses for the brushes as i use different brushes for different areas.

Ipsy/My Glam Bag Review

So first off i know i havent really been posting anything and thanks to everyone who has been patient with me. My little one was really sick and then my boyfriend came home sick and you know how guys are when they are sick right? Ugh, Just like alittle kid lol But now im back and Ive got so many new things i would like to share with you all so within the next few days i will be posting alot. So first thing ill be sharing with you dolls is my ipsy bag..

If you arent fimilar with Ipsy its a subscription box you sign up for and pay $10 a month. It used to be called MyGlam but they Recently changed the name to Ipsy. So you recieve this cute pink package and inside it comes with a makeup bag and 5 sample/deluxe size products and sometimes they do even give full size products. Once you become a member, you become apart of the ipsy community where you can post photos, videos and chat about the products. I've been subscribed to Ipsy for a few months and i do recommend to anyone who loves trying new products and who doesnt want to pay full price before even knowing if your going to like it or not. So all you do is go to the website Ipsy.Com and you take this quick little beauty quiz and based on your response they have an idea of what shades to send you when they send out the monthly package. Btw ladies who wouldnt want 5 deluxe samples of Beauty products for only $10? So if your interested in viewing what we recieved this month just keep reading....

So this months theme was Get Red Carpet Ready

So this is the makeup bag we recieved this month.. Its a black pleather/vinyl like bag with a red inside and ipsy stitched in the center. I think its not bad looking, I have better bags then this but HEY! I cant complain its basically free...

Next was this Pixi Flawless and Poreless Face Primer. Its a small 15.ml/0.5fl oz. It says its a Pore minimizing face primer, oil free, hydrating, hypoallergenic and for all skin types. I only used this product once so i have not much of a comment but it did work, it maintained the oil in my Tzone. Now this can be found in Target for like $30, so it was great to recieve this to sample and see how i like it.

Quite a few people were upset about receiving this lash card deluxe size sample. Now i was half and half about it. Like i said before, Its like its free, so who am i to complain? Its something new to my collection that i have never tried before. Its supposed to help prevent smudging and clumping. You place the card over your lid to prevent getting mascara on your eyelid/shadow.. I'll use this for my bottom lashes (I have like 5 lower lashes lol and i blink alot so i do tend to get it on my concealer)

This mascara is from Pop beauty and its black. Now i dont have much to say as i didnt really like the product. I also have only used it once but it was kinda dry and didnt do anything for my lashes. Maybe i recieved a faulty one, but it almost seemed like i was putting nothing on. So i was pretty disappointed in this one. (If anyone tried this product and it was better for you, letme know your results)

Now this product i was happy to recieve. Its a Black gel liner from Mica Beauty Cosmetics. This product is actually full size. Its the same size as maybellines gel liner and avon gel liner. I have heard that they're gel liner was good and i loooove gel liners, So you can imagine my face when i saw this in the bag. I have used this about 3x and i have to admit i really do like it. Its creamy and glides on so smoothly and it lasts quite a while. So thumbs up on this product ipsy!!

And Lastly is a mini sample quad called Glitz and Glamour from Coastal Scents. I have never tried any of their eye shadows, but i always hear great reviews on their palletes. So i have to play with these and see what i come up with.. But this seems great for a smokey look..

Botttom Right- Ashen (Grey with sparkle)

Maybelline Color Whispers!!

So, i went to walgreens to browse as i normally do to check out whats new, and what i dont have, and i noticed maybelline color whispers.. I was taken away by the cute packaging. Secret: When it comes to makeup I am such a sucker for cute packaging.. Lol sometimes i tend to buy it not for the product but because of how cute it looks. I have quite a few products that i dont like but i bought it because it was just too cute lol
Totally off topic yes i know, but back to the regular scheduled program... Now where was i? Yeah ok so i noticed the lipsticks/lip balms and i also noticed how highpriced the prices were and i quickly took note of what i wanted and left.. I called my boyfriend who works by a walmart and asked him to pick it up for me because its much cheaper there... Now i only got two because i wanted to try them out first and see how i like it... (The Pic and swatches are below)

The first product is called Berry Ready. Its a berry shade which can get deeper when you apply it a few times.. I really like this shade compared to the others because its darker and better suited for my skin tone..

The second one is called pin up peach.. It is sheer, And its a pinky-peach color.. I would recommend this one for lighter shades as on my lips it shows but its not as flattering.

These color whipsers are so mosuturizing. It lasted a few hours as well.. I love how they arent sticky or give me the feeling of being caked on or dry.. They feel just like having on a lip balm but with a sheer tint... They are highly compared to the revlon lip butters and in my opinion they pretty much are the same... These arent going to be my go-to lippie but its definitely being added to my purse for a quick touch up or color when im out and about and have no makeup on.. There are a few more i want to buy and try so ofcourse ill let you guys know when i do..

*The Prize i Won*

Well recently +Britt Washington  had a teaser from her giveaway which is still going on (More details on that below) and i won her teaser.. I recieved the package yesterday and to my surprise it was three eyeshadows and a cute note from her. Although i didnt show the note in the pic (I dont like show personal stuff like that)

1. The shade is called Auburn. Its a bronze-like shade thats beautiful and well pigmented.. With one swipe it picked up alot of color.. It also has a bit of shimmer in it..

2. Is called Copper and the color is true to its name... Its really a nice color to use for the crease for a neutral eye..

3. This one is called Olive. Its color is also true to its name.. I dont have many eyeshadows this deep green color and i cant wait to work with it and create a cute look..

I love the shadows and will be doing a look with them real soon so look out for it...

1. I Love to read.. I read all different type of genres and have a little collection of books and will be collecting more and more as the year goes by.

 

2.I smell EVERYTHING!! lol my family always joke on me about it and some of them find it annoying.. I smell my food before i eat it (If i dont like the smell i wont eat it) I smell products and new clothes and anything you can think of i have the habit of smelling it lol.

 

3. I hate feet.. I dont know, but its been something i always just felt disgusted about. I dont like to touch them or have them touch me. Only my kids feet i can touch because its baby feet and cute.. Grown feet kinda creep me out lol (Oh and no i dont smell feet lol its the only thing i dont smell)

 

4. I have a big interest in cars. My boyfriend is really into cars and its a passion we both share. We're always looking at pictures online and watching racing videos.

 

5. I love watching beauty gurus on youtube. I wish i could do some videos of my own but i dont have the time that goes into it.

 

6. I love shoes, Handbags and makeup. (Such a girl in that way)

 

7. I do like to play videogames, dont play it often but ill join my boyfriend in a game or two once in awhile)

 

8. I love to watch sports, mainly basketball.. although i cant play it very well (Ill deny it if asked lol I like to pretend im the best!)

 

9. I am 5'9 always been tall since i can remember lol it has it advantages but also has its disadvantages(Like i can never find jeans long enough for me)

Theres a few movies that reminds me of my own life but theres only like a scene from each movie that i relate too.. I honestly think that my life should be turned into a movie lol ugh it would be the most drama filled, action filled and have the most comedy ive ever seen in a movie lol

Actually was picking up my daughter from school yesterday and this older woman complimented my earrings and i noticed she needed help crossing the street because of traffic so assisted her across the street

As a hispanic we're always adding alot of flavor to our meals. I use a latin rub by goya called adobo (all purpose seasoning) which consists of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dry orégano.

Ugh lol so many.. I love mac but its way to expensive to buy all the time.. Nyx is affordable and provides great products and the balm has great products... i like them all for different reasons and products

9) Fist name of your best friend (not husband, mom, or dad or kids) ?
I might sound like a loser but i dont have any friends lol I had lots of female friends and they all in one way or another betrayed my trust or showcased dishonesty. So i dont surround myself with people who i cannot trust. I am looking to meet new people and build friendships.. But my boyfriend is the only person who has proved to be more then a best friend.

10) Favourite book ?
50 shades of grey!! lol no j/k i havent even read the book... Ugh also so many books to list lol i dont have favs of anything since i like so much, But two books i would recommend is Bobbi brown makeup manual (For anyone who is into beauty and makeup) and The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom

Orginally i would say eyeliner.. I so love wearing my cat eye look and cannot go anywhere without it on. But recently i have really got into lipsticks so i must say both!! Lol

My Mini Haul

Hey Dolls

       I know its been awhile since i've posted but i have been really busy. As a mom of two it can get pretty busy around the house (Kids running about and mommy this and that lol) But i figured i'd share my mini haul with you girls. I recently purchased a few things i have wanted to try and some things i just saw while out and about and just decided to purchase.. This will be a pretty long post so i hope you enjoy

Wet N Wild (Walgreens.com)

 

First i stopped off at Walgreens and Purchased a few things. Walgreens isnt really my go-to drugstore because they seem so un-organized and never seem to have anything i want or is very over-priced. So i needed just a clear polish and decided why not get this Wet N wild ( I mean it was only .99cents so why not lol) and its just a clear polish protector (401a). Then i happened to see this beautiful soft milky pale pink color called SugarCoat(205b) and i just had to get it ( Was $1.99)

Essie (Walgreens.Com)

So before i headed off to get my hair products and get some new products for my girls curly mixed hair, i happened to pass by Essie. Now usually I never see Essie at my local Walgreens and once i noticed they had these two colors i had to jump on it since ive been wanting these colors for awhile.
This Hot Pink nail Polish is called Fiesta. As i stated it is a Hot pink but with a cool tone rather then being a neon pink. Its very flirty and quite daring for some. I cant wait to try this out and see what i can do with it.. I wanted to try a color i really didnt have in my collection and my eyes couldnt break away from this Good as Gold color. Its a gold metallic color from their Mirror metallics collection. I have seen this shade online quite often but wasnt sure how it would look and just needed to see it in person and VOILA Its just what i imagined it would be Beautiful!!!
I really love these two colors and am considering using both for a V-Day look. If you are interested in pics and or details comment below..

Maybelline Bb Cream

So i have heard quite a few hits and misses on this Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream and it has been something ive been wanting to try out on my own and see how i like it. I was in target with my boyfriend just picking up some random household products and i wanted to pick this up but they didnt have quite a selection and this seemed true to my complexion. So the shade i picked up was   Medium/deep.. It is a bit lighter then it shows in the picture. I have only used this product once so i dont have much of an opinion on it yet. I'll have to try it out a few more times, so look out for a review on this product..

I also had to check out the E.L.F section and i picked up this Black Cream EyeLiner in the shade Midnight. I needed a new Black cream liner.I saw this Lip Plump and Primer duo and figured i could just try it out since i do need a lip primer. And i picked up this healthy Glow bronzing powder in the shade Sun Kissed. Its to light for my complextion and has shimmer in it so ill definitely use this as a highlight. They didnt have much of a selection and didnt have any of the products i really wanted so ill have to look elsewhere.

I was at my local dollar store and at the register they had this small palette of eyeshadows and the colors looked real pretty and bright. So me being me i just had to pick it up. And yes it is no brand that i ever heard of, and as their colors arent as great as other brands i was really pleased at how pigmented these shadows were. They had both matte and shimmer shades that look beautiful on the eye.

M.A.C. ($15 mac.com/Macys.com)

So i had ordered some beautiful boots from macys.com and i once again i just had to pick up yet again another beauty related product and that is This M.A.C red lipstick in the shade Ruby Woo. Now i dont know why it has taken me so long to purchase this lipstick shade because i heard so many great things about it. Its a beautiful red matte shade that seems to look nice on all skin tones. I have a few red lipsticks but i could never find that perfect red lipstick that looked perfect on me and i finally found it!! Yay!! This lipstick i really recommend to those who love red and who wants that great matte look.
